Empowering Girls: Celebrating Diversity on International Women’s Day

It was an honor to receive a visit in our Better World office from UK General Consulate in Erbil ( represented by her excellency the General Counsel Rosy Cave, Head of Politcal Ella Hallums, and Political Officer Hanar Marouf. Better World Organization Operational Manager Participation in the international training forum on the financial sustainability of non-profit organizations, which was held in Istanbul by the American Indiana University Lilly family school of Philanthropy.
The purpose of the training was to rehabilitate and develop financial resources in the third sector (non- profit sector), through an intensive training program for a period of 10 days, with the participation of 100 person representing more than 50 NGOs from different countries of the world.
During the training , the most important contemporary methods of collecting donations for charitable organizations were presented and how to achieve financial sustainability. The training also contributed to the participants getting acquainted with other NGOs from different countries and learning about their strategies for fundraising.

We are thrilled to share the incredible journey we’ve undertaken over the past three months, supported wholeheartedly by the German Consulate. Better World celebrated International Children’s Day in Kabartu 1 and Garmawa camps by conducting different activities to make these beautiful children happy.

Better World Organization in Kapartu 1 camp celebrated the International Day of People with special needs , The celebration included a number of intertainment activities, some motivational speeches and showing skills of some participants with special needs in addition to distributing simple gifts on them.
