Closing event of”Strengthening the Capacity of Young Women for Meaningful Participation in Decisin Making in their Communities” project
On 30th July Better World Organization in coordination with Directorate of Youth in Duhok in the occasion of its project end under the title of “Strengthening the Capacity of Young Women for Meaningful Participation in Decision Making in their Communities” under Women Voice First Project with @Cordaidiraq conducted a closing event under the name “ Supporting Young Women Meaningful Participation in Decision Making and Peace Building”
The event presented the result of the project and conduct a panel discussion where stakeholders were invited to discuss how they can better support meaningful participation of young women focusing on UNSCR 1325 women, peace and security.
Family Case Management and Counseling Training of Trainers
we are happy to start (Family Case Management and Counseling) as a piloting activity within our project with SOS “Enhancing Safe Environment in Families from Host Community in Duhok City ” and in collaboration with Directorate of Social centers within general directorate of care and social development in Duhok. We have just finished the first important step of the activity which was 12 days TOT training to the Directorate and BWO staff. Special thanks goes to Professors Dr. Chachan and the continuous support of Mr Khalid the Director of the Directorate. Together we are planing strategic plan for this activity.
